- Closing your OKX account will be permanent, and your trade offers and funds will be inaccessible
- Your personal identification documents and information can’t be used for a new account
Planning on recreating an account? ✍️
As said in the previous points, once you submitted your personal identification documents and it gets tied to an account, if that account gets closed/deleted you can’t use your same identification documents to register a new account.
So if you’re planning on continuing to use OKX sometime in the future, it’s better to leave your account than close it!
How to permanently close your account ✨
- Login to your OKX account
- Navigate to Security settings > Freeze/close account
- Click Close account
- Enter the required 2FA verification codes if you have them activated
- Click on Confirm
Your account will now be pending for deletion!
